a cylindrical shape, Micro Drum Lens is easier to handle than a typical
ball lens, but still has the exxcellent optical performance of a typical
ball lens in an micro optical environmen, suitable for compact-size
fiberoptical components, laser systems, and micro optical devices. The
tip of the curvature can be polished flat for special collimation needs.
